Weird network login issues

This issue started about 3 weeks ago, I have random local workstations on a domain who for some reason will not allow anyone to login unless PC is rebooted. We keep getting invalid username/password error, only way to get them to login is to reboot the PC. So far this appears to be random. I tried as myself and same error, I even unplugged the network cable and cached credentials would not work either. Anyone ever seen this ???

Service issue perhaps? Is remote administration possible at this state?
Netlogon perhaps?

Checked Event logs yet? Maybe a clue there, don't forget security logs too.

Does the Security Event log give any clues?
edit: GokAy types and thinks faster :-)

> I cant remote into the affected machines
Does that include not being able to connect to the affected machines via your local Computer Management console?

If you can connect via that console...
...check the state of log on related services
...stop/start those services
...check the System event log for service related issues
