After I have used a cd to install a program and then remove it I get an error that there is no disc in drive d:

Anyone else get this error?

Hi black454,

Exactly when do you get this error message? If it is when you try to run the program then it could be that the CD is required to be present in the same drive that was used when you installed the program, even if it is simply to validate that you do indeed own a copy of the said program.

I was installing the software for my Harmony 880 tv remote. It installed fine and updated itself. Then a bit later I took the cd out and it popped up a message that it couldn't find some file on d:

I had this same program on my computer when I was running xp pro and never ran into an error message.
