Weird program behavior & BSoD

I've been having this weird problem where my programs will randomly crash. When I try to open them again, I automatically see the "send error report" window come up. When I restart [COLOR=#0072BC ! important][COLOR=#0072BC ! important]my [COLOR=#0072BC ! important]computer[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR], it temporarily fixes it for a little while. A few of these programs are Firefox, Skype, and [COLOR=#0072BC ! important][COLOR=#0072BC ! important]iTunes[/COLOR][/COLOR].

That's one of the problems. Another one I see sometimes is it not letting me open whatever I click. It will let me see the preview thumbnail but won't open it all the way.

The BSoD I get is: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

I'm assuming that BSoD has something to do with the two problems I mentioned above. I looked everywhere for a solution, but no luck. Hoping this site can help me

You had many BSOD reports and I checked only a few.
Try this hot fix. The problem seems to be driver: dxgmms1.sys
The October 2009 stability and reliability update for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 is available.

If problem persists, repost and a detail analysis will be made.

ITunes is also know to cause BSOD problems

SPTD part of Daemon or Alchohol 120% is also a known cause of BSOD
Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done:

I updated my video card driver & directX, uninstalled Daemon Tools, and already had that update that you posted rich, but I'm still crashing with the same BSoD I'll attach an updated minidump to see if anything new came up

To clear out reports I just delete the contents of the folder?

Yes, I would do it via disc clean up. Be sure to include system files by checking the box

search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to

- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone - will help you search Google for the name of the driver

I did come up with something new, but not much
The BC code was again 50, but the cause was a bit different (but that is not too significant). It indicates dxgmms1.sys as the offending driver.

Okay, I uninstalled SPTD, but I'm still getting BSoD. It seems like I'm getting them a lot less frequent though.

On a side note, I haven't really been looking at the BSoD much, but I decided to read some of it this time. It seems like part of the top left of the blue screen was cut off for some reason, but I saw "ntsf.sys". I'm assuming it might be corrupted? I looked into that file a little, and I've seen a few people also mentioning something about updating nvidia drivers, which brought me back to your post about me updating them. I looked in the device manager, and couldn't find anything about nvidia at all. I'm using a ATI video card, so I don't see how or where I could update nvidia

Nvida or otherwise.

Dont be discouraged, this is the way the minidumps work. Either they give a clear answer, which is not often or they give clues, the more the better.

It may not be Nvdiia, but it is your graphics driver that was mentioned. Go to device manager and check you drivers, especailly the graphics. Look for outdated drivers or yellow warning markers.

I apologize for not replying in a while, I've been busy, but I've decided to reinstall Windows. It finished about an hour ago, and after installing about 5 programs, I got got the same BSoD. So I'm thinking it may be a hardware problem. Let me know what you think

Take this test run for at least 6-8 scans, overnight is good
Then if you pass take a good stick and test each slot
Download memtest86 and test RAM
