Hello, I have a very weird situation. I put other hdd on my system, both are hdd sata, and the hdd that I linked to my system was also with 2 partitions, one with windows 7 and other with random old files and document. Also on my system I use windows 7. When I try to delete files from linked hdd in C partions, I noticed that it also deleted files from my system C. I deleted some files in linked hdd in program files, and it was also deleted from my system C program files. How you explain this? It is a bug? If you dont belive me, try it. Thanks

As I understand it, you named one partition on your second HD C:. You should use a different name for the partition on that HD. In other words, don't use the same partition names on two hard drives when they're linked.

Sorry- you said "delete files from linked hdd in C partions)." If the secondary hard drive is set up as a boot drive, then it's okay to have a C: partition on it as well as your other hard drive. How are the drives linked?

Never seen something like that.
Was one of the drives ever on a RAID 1 array or did the computer ever had a RAID 1 array?

Please edit your profile with ALL your hardware specs. It will help us to help you
System Info - See Your System Specs

A Raid array is when you configure two or more drives to work together.
RAID 1 consists of data mirroring, without parity or striping. Data is written identically to two or more drives, thereby producing a "mirrored set" of drives.

The array is configured on BIOS. You have two options to configure SATA ports: RAID or ACPI. Check how yours is configured.

Please post a whole window Disk Manager image of your drives. Don't forget to expand the columns so we can read them. Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image
If you have a MiniTool or AOMEI Partition use it instead or Windows disk manager.
