ok, this has happened twice when i've done a system restore.
in both cases, chrome and opera browser were gone.
i went to add/remove and they were no longer listed.
both browsers were installed LONG BEFORE the restore point i had selected. ie, i selected a restore point to the earliest 2days ago june7 and it wiped out opera and chrome even though they were installed a month ago. upon opening the browsers after the reinstall, they were both complete with all the bookmarks and activity as if nothing had ever happened.
furthermore, a couple of files i had downloaded earlier in the day were not wiped,,,,,,THEY WERE STILL THERE.
what's going on?
