Hello everyone,

I just recently joined this wonderful site. I found my way here through Google many times when searching for specific problems I've had with Windows, or when I was looking for specific information.

I've been using Windows since the very beginning, and I must say it's come a very long way. While I'm no network engineer, I would like to study to become one. I just need to really save some money for what I plan on doing. Technology is perhaps my favorite hobby and one I spend most of my time with.

Over the years I've learned to create unattended Windows boot CDs, and I plan on learning how to do that again with Windows 7, since it's been several years since I last worked with that kind of information.

I've also created my own bootup screens for Windows XP, but that was years ago. I'm looking to create custom themes and login screens sometime in the near future for Windows 7.

I work with a wide variety of programs, such as Photoshop, Adobe Audition, Flash, Sony Vegas, and a few editors for Doom / Doom 3. I wouldn't classify myself as an expert, but fairly knowledgeable in most areas.

Aside from Windows, I have experience with the iPhone, iTunes and jailbreak processes, including common errors that may arise when trying to sync or setup your device. So, if you have questions in that area, feel free to contact me.

Hi for the life of me I cannot find how to "create new thread" - now I know I`m new but come on!! I belong to other forums and there is always a "create new thread" at the bottom of the page - I can't even find it on search and I need this to be able to find out why I have Ralinks RT7X on my computer when I am using Vista IE 7 !!! not 8 - geez - I didn't put this ON my puter and all the sudden its on Programs and Features.

I must say that all have made me feel very welcome and Bare foot Kid has offered the direction I while allowing one to panic really well too !!
Accolades to Bare Foot Kid for being able to handle this 57 yr old female going thru panic attacks with her puter.

As to mousepads - i still use them and don't use optical mice - according to WOW they don't work well with their game sooooo ....I`m using the mouse with a tail.

I use this computer for work (alpha/beta test games) so I can't have things "go wrong" with it ! <3

Hi. Most people call me Teggers. I have been on various (mostly car) forums with this username since approximately 1998. The avatar pic is my 11 month old boy named Etienne taken at a track day. Just in case you were wondering

Not really into computers tbh other than a little gaming, internet forums and work use. I run a little mobile phone shop in Devon (south west England for you foreigners ) and am hugely into my Jap performance cars.

Signed up here as I found it whilst looking for advice on the compatibility of Total Annihilation as its one of the best RTS games I've ever played and I want it again!
