Welcome oldfogey! I use use google a lot because it is a great search engine until I found that I could get the same outstanding results using Scroogle Scraper which uses their proxy to retrieve the results you request from Google anonymously and delivers them to you using SSL encryption. Using a Scoogle Scraper search insures that you get all of the information you are seeking without having your information recorded and shared with every entry on the results list.
