Guys, Although I have not been able to follow my thread and replies. I do follow some great advice from the intelligencia. Where do I keep up with dated scripts to follow the ongoing messages. May I reply to any thread.

Anyway I have a Dell Inspiron 580 win7 Home Edition/Pro (updated).After having downloaded Xp Mode 20 times to no avail, i found no relevant concise answer to integrated features unable to:.........so I lost it to the Garbage Bin.VMware has now become my soul mate with great responses and to date no issues. I am a hobbyist Eprom programmer 3 months old.Xp mode could never ever see and recognize my pci parallel port card, and Vmware automatically did so with flying colors. Always download the latet drivers from website Manu, run it firstly then place the card in the Cpu.However on the host computer it recognizes it as a Pci card but in Vmware it says LPT1. Do not despair use the resource number and away you go. My parallel port is up and running after 2 months of hard struggle with Xp mode. (Historically, In Xp mode, everytime the updates came on and was loaded and installed, restarting the Vmc caused the features to be voided).

Hi everyone...
I've come by in hopes of fixing this problem that's driving me nuts... and hopefully avoiding having to send the notebook to the repair shop... :( Anykind of advice would be greatly appreciated. And hopefully, I'll pick up some new knowledge along the way!
