Hello I am the americancritic and I am a member of the vistax64 and the Seven's forum. I have 3 computers 1st is XP, the second is vista home premium and the 3rd is windows 7, thats kind of new and will take a little to get ajusted. I am a private Investigator in Arizona and have been since 1987, I am semi retired I like to play and enjoy life, if all the people here at the Sevens forum are as nice as the ones in vistax64 then this is a great place to be. I have been a memeber for a couple of weeks now and I have to say there are some very talented people here at the sevens. Thanks for reading and I am sure we will get to know each other.

I was a member of many sites, until i was presented with a bulk-licensed Win.7 Ultimate CD and thus became a member of the W7 forum!" As P.G. Wodehouse, one of a kind humorous romantic novelist said(in one of his books) "SPARE THE CHILD AND SPOIL THE ROD" (the rod is sparingly used here), here the emphasis is self-restraint rather than any policing like in a dictatorship! As you already aware, being a member of many sites, you can see the refreshing difference almost immediately!

Hi all. Just joined this site because I am looking to get some input into my new system that I just bought (I'm building the system hardware from scratch - not my first time) but am really looking to decide which operating system to use..

i know just about everything about Win XP, but next-to-nothing about Windows 7. I've only used it about twice (not on my own machines), and it was for a very short amount of time.. I hope this site will help me decide what system is right for me. Thanks in advance!

Greetings, All!

I'm an old guy who's coming somewhat late to the game as far as IT goes, having been a graphic artist for a number of years prior to making the switch. I don't even think I'mworthy of the "IT Guy" title yet... I'm more of a "Tech Support Guy". Anyway, I've been using Windows 7 for a while, and as it's gaining more adoption thorughout our company and clients I find myself with more and more questions, but hopefully I'll be able to assist with as many as I fire off! Glad to be here!
