"wgmiu is compressed, press ctrl, alt., delete" message

upon starting my computer,the screen says "wgmiu is compressed, press ctrl, alt., delete" acreen blinks and then goes right back to wgmiu is compressed, wont go any farther...any ideas? Thanks.

Hi h2ounderground , welcome to the forums , i have a feeling you;ve been infected with a virus i did a search for "wgmiu" and the only legible result was the post you made on Microsoft answers , i will have to pass this one over to the security experts of the forum

Have you compress your HD.

Its likely you clicked all folders and compressed, for extra disk storage.
If so, a similar error occurred to me. Search my threads, i'm sorry i can't post a link, i'm very busy. the title is bootmgr is compressed.

Boot critical files are compressed. In order to fix this, boot the WIn7 Repair CD or install DVD, select "Repair My Computer," on System Recovery Options click "Load Drivers," then OK, now when the mini-explorer opens up, click on Computer, then rightclick on Win7 drive, choose Properties, untick the box for compressing files on the drive. Click Apply, back out of the Repair console, Win7 should start on Reboot.
