Seriously if I see that flaming AVG seacrh and ask bar just once more I shall lose the will to live

I'm still annoyed a day later by someone belittling me for asking a question they considered dumb. Is it dumb to want to know if/when a laptop charger for another make can be used? When I googled before I got a million sales results - now I get my thread which answers the question succinctly. So there. Yet the belittler is strangely defiant.

I didn't post because I didn't see the thread until you posted here yesterday evening.
The early death of your charger is a possibity if not the proper amperage needed for the room mates lappy.
So a viable question.

What we need to plan is Abstinence from buying all this crap from the renowned companies. I, for one, am tired of lining their pockets with my hard earned money just so I can have the latest IPad, IPhone or Win 8 OS in order to keep up with the Jones's or Smith's.
They are dictating where they want to take us and I want to tell them where to go!
Yes, I am done ranting and will go quietly back to what I was doing....Playing "Go Fish" with my wife.

AVG free seems to have decided it likes itself as bloatware, no matter that it ruined their reputation. They're either clueless or strangely defiant. :huh:

Some people have no tact, and many no sense. Some it's a combination. Frankly, I'd keep your charger to yourself. And I'm a technician
