Obviously, there is no end to the number of possible annoyances. The trick is to deal with the emotion itself, because the causes of it are not going to vanish. It is no easy task, and no one is able do so 100% of the time, but with each small success, it gradually becomes easier.

Reminds me of the time a male driver overtook another car and as he did so the female driver yelled "PIG!!"

As the one-fingered salute was snapped into action he looked up and ran into a monster of a pig staggering across the road.

When Xbox 360 freezes in the middle of the game and it makes me feel like it has corrupt everything in the hard drive and like it creates some kind of error dump somewhere which i'm never able to find out. Consoles are not meant to be freeze when using the scratchless discs... I hate this feeling and this problem which happens once in a while.

Although I like to mix it up with other universal gestures depending on the miscreants manoeuvre in question. It can often have more impact than a solitary digit extension. Eye contact is preferable:

►The Golf Clap

Useful for applauding 'jobs well done' ie nearly being wiped out.

►The Head Shake

Slow and exaggerated often accompanied by the clear mouthing of "****ing idiot". Useful for expressing disbelief whilst belittling another drivers existence.

► The Appendage Massage

There are two variants here: The standard simulated 'air massage' gesture or the more specific 'You have an appendage attached to your head' motion. The larger the transgression, the larger the gesture.

Bonus emphasis is awarded when you can combine all three gestures in succession.

Any or all of these gestures are usually responded to with the solitary digit response. An acceptable return is the 'yoo-hoo' cheeky wave with an adorned smug smile affixed.

Why is it that some modem, switches, and router manufacturers make their Ethernet sockets upside down and some the right way up - irritates the dickens out of me having to upend the hub or router to depress that little tab to release the connector.

Hah hah yes! My mates and I used to do that as well. It was great fun (for us at any rate)

I also had an old dash mounted revolving police light. Add that to the CB PA setup and ensuing shenanigans were guaranteed.
