Hum seeker the trick is to cook them slower on a lower power setting (to steam them) - same goes for meat. That way the veggies retain they nutrient value better and the meat doesn't become tough - even meat pies and crumbed frozen fish don't turn into leather you just gotta be patient.

You have discovered my weakness...no patience, at least when it comes to food. I have a tendency to wait until I'm hungry to cook, and when I'm hungry, I find no patience. I can't remember ever using anything except the high setting. Guess I need to change that.

yeah ,the store i left it in closed at 4pm and i didnt realize until later that i had left it behind, i will find out soon if its been handed in as the store opens in 20 mins.
fingers crossed.

EDIT: the phone is in the store and i will be collecting it a little later.
