What are the equivalents of my GPU?

First thing first, if you don't know what your card is equivalent to post here.
Secondly, My card is an AMD Radeon Sapphire HD 6570 (2GB) DDR3, and i do not know what the nVidia card or and ATI equivalent to. please help. all help appreciated.

The reason you are having so much trouble identifying this is because it's not really comparable to much. See here where it stacks up against my 5850

Your card is really just a modern display card though. It's 3d performance is horrendous.
It's made to be a low profile low power card for htpc's and the like.

I think I can get one at microcenter down the street for about 30-40 dollars.

Well looking at the spec of the Radeon HD 6570 it doesn't stack up to the one i have, sapphire radeon hd6570, so i have complety lost it..
