I've noticed that in some files I have a file call ?.Event. What are these files? Can you delete them without any harm? Can you view them and if so what type of information would you receive from them? Then, the picture that I have attached, this was taken back in 1/1/2011, so was this computer someone else back then?

Did you buy the computer used after that date?

Right click Computer and select Manage, give OK to UAC if needed. Then expand Event Viewer and look throught those logs, you will probably finh the file there as a log entry.

Yes, 10's of thousands on most PC's. They provide lists of what windows does in the background, good and bad. It records errors and program failures. If you have a BSOD or crash, these are helpful in finding out why.

I can't see mine right now, but there should be an option in the Menu or right-click to clear a log. However, I would leave them.
