Same thing I always listen to: Oldies But Goodies 1955 thru 1969. I have 6-8 thousand mp3's
loaded on various usb drives and SDcards which I play in my car. Of course they are also stored on
my computer separated in folders the way I want and played randomly in Winamp.
ROCK ON!!!!

My children (2) and grandchildren (5) love most of my oldies. They also love rap and I quickly leave
as soon as it starts. Same with hip-hop. When Berry Gordy released first record for Motown in 1959
it was Bad Girl - The Miracles with Smokey Robinson and it started a barrage of hits by still well know
artists like Mary Wells, The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Jimmy Ruffin, The Contours,
The Four Tops, Gladys Knight and the Pips, The Commodores, The Velvelettes, Martha and the
Vandellas, Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5 and many others. WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE?

Dylan, Lenon and McCartny also Paul Simon an enormous influence into good texts and music.

Blue's always had good texts because it was about live and misery, but the " universal soldier " and " The eve of destruction", got the protest songs into view, more intelligent than " I want to hold your hand " ( which song I love as well ) but texts like " fool on the hills" make young people think ( I hope ). Well, they did that to me.

Good music and good books! You can learn each day! And Windows 7 forums !!!!!!!!!!!

But music is also just to enjoy and dance to, and that is great, we need fun in this world.

That song is just as pertinent now as it was over 50 years ago. I love that song.
