Hi guys
Doesn't anybody EARN money from them like "Day Trading" or dealing in Futures on the Stock exchange etc etc.

What about Pro musicians, authors, journalists, pro photographers, fashion designers, architechts etc etc.

Not forgetting Scientists such as Volcanologists taking Laptops into places like Mt Etna to measure toxic gases etc.

Surely there are people out there doing "Real Work" with computers.

Cheers

One of my fav quotes:

"A bus station is where buses stop. A train station is where trains stop. On my desk, I have a work station."http://minekey.com/theopinion/29035...-train-stops-on-my-desk-i-have-a-work-station

Primarily the following:
  • Programming (Mostly for private use, but generally to enable my computer to do things that commercial software cannot or will not allow me to do)
  • Movies and Music (Prometheus never gets turned off, and doubles as a media server to the Mede8er in the lounge)
  • Downloading (Sattelite TV is far too expensive where I live, and O.T.A public TV is good only for current events braodcasts. I have to get my TV Shows somewhere, right?)
  • Web Surfing (For all sorts of stuff, but mostly geared towards stuff that help with the above three points)
  • Gaming (Not really, because thats not what I built Prometheus for. Diablo II is anyway the only real game worth playing, until Diablo 3 is released anyway...)
  • Desktop Design (Untill recently, I designed print advertisements for the company where I worked)
  • Designing and Printing commercial-quality covers for my backup disks
  • The list goes on...
