Fault with my phone line means I get a blistering 300kbps connection speed!
Steam takes decades to connect, and its great design flaw means you can't play in offline mode without setting it first while online! And well don't know if I want to lower myself to bf3's single player lol

oh, so it's not just me with that online/offline issue! good to know (but a pain for all), as I was thinking Steam was broken when being offline and saying it couldn't be offline in offline mode Steam really is a pain in the a**e :/ Long live physical media... Why do they think the cloud is the future? Until everyone has lighting-fast internet connections, no download caps and 1PB (yes, PB) HDDs or incredibly limited tastes in gaming, I don't see it taking off. Last physical game I bought was LA Noire for PC. Last digital game? Saints Row 2. anyway me, :focus: been playing both recently Still wish LA Noire had Games for Windows Live achievements

Yes it is! I'm 30 hours into it and still haven't done most of the story missions. So much fun horsing around the city and doing activities, takeovers etc

Im playing and will be playing skyrim for the rest of my life it seems lol. i put 48 hours into the game but it recently went to shit after i forgot to backup my saves. i was a lvl 30 nord with sweet looking armor i crafted and weapons i crafted all with enchantments. i had several shouts done 50 misc quests 10-15 side quests- and a good piece of the story line and i am hella pissed. however i saw it as an opportunity to start fresh and focus on skills i wanted and needed instead of beign all over the skill tree. this time im going as a mage and ive been having a blast. pun intended.

No, not that i'm aware of. Though there is modding going on, so anything possible. You can join Gentlemen of Steelport Steam group. It's about modding SR3 and there are mods posted.

Downloaded some mods for Skyrim today, but only ones that enhance the graphics of the game, or improve performance and so on, gotta like it when smart people do smart stuff lol, anyway most of the mods really make the game look allot better imho.

Also, I installed Starwars KORTOR 1 on my laptop again....you have to love the classics!

Also guys, i found a fix for the crash i got where the game would just exit to desktop. Go to soud option in controll pannel, and select your current sound device and properties, then change the sound to 24bit,44100 studio qaulity. I found this fix on google,so i didn't figure it out myself, but it worked, and no I have no idea why lol.
