what games are you playing?

well, it looks like we won't be playing bulletstorm 2.

a real pity, as the first game was an absolute blast.

anyway, just downloading wargame: european escalation currently on offer at steam (well at least it is in the uk, don't know about elsewhere).

i've been hearing good things about this game. looks like the sort of thing i could get it into.

only four and a half hours to download...

What a Shame I liked Bulletstorm alot too love the boot slide ..........

yeah, it's a real bummer - i think bulletstorm is the most enjoyable balls-out outrageously silly sci-fi shooter for a very long time, full of laughs and wtf's - i even forgave its use of GFWL.

i hope another publisher can snap the sequel up and put it out.

i'm enjoying wargame:european escalation too. i'm going to have to convince some friends to buy it, so we can get into multiplayer. it's always more fun beating somebody you know. :devil: i've only played about five hours or so, the first few battles, but i can already see there's plenty here to sink my teeth into, and i hope it's going to be a game i can really lose myself in. i daren't start it up now for a session, as i'm planning to do stuff today!

Started Silent Hill: Downpour over the weekend.

Good news: It doesn't completely suck like the last 3 or so Silent Hills have.
Bad News: It's still no Silent Hill 2.

It's just not reaching the levels of creepy/scary that it should be.

But at least the game is not designed to just piss you off like everything else SINCE 2 was...

They have downpour for the PC WTH ?

Im going to look for it on steam now I just beat homecomming and have to say i was Impressed the game was locked 30fps but hell it was a good game Bad ending but most of the game was enjoyable

Let's hope the ending is better then Homecomming

Any problems running the game? Saw that it runs in dx11 in some reviews and youtube videos.

I had the occasional CTD, but overall it's pretty stable. It's more taxing on resources than the previous BM, but it should look great even with a few details lowered.

(It bogs down a little if you use PhysX, but since you've got AMD - that's a non-issue for you)

Thanks for the info smarteyeball will buy it maybe next month or so once I got some spare money on the side or wait to see if it goes on sale again like it did on steam and was at $30usd while the retail price was $50usd but right now its $50usd on steam I think I want to see if they have another sale like the summer sale so I can get it for maybe a bit less

No worries mate - if you grab it for a discount - then that just makes it better


Playing through BF3 SP campaign. So far, so enjoyable.

It's funny that on the surface, it's not really all that different from COD MW3, yet one feels like a chore and the other is fun :huh:
