What Games Are You Playing? [2]

Cool. Ive always liked the TR games. Hoping the new one is good.

Got mine from Steam, so ended up with a copy of Guardian Of Light. But, since I already have it, I have a extra.
Was thinking I may just give it to someone else who uses Steam as well and may be interested in it.

TDU2 and Borderlands 2 again, their extremely fun to play... especially in TDU2 when you can just ram a cop and run off :devil:

Crysis 3...For 2 hours I thought there was something wrong with my graphics card. Turns out vsync locked the frames at 30, just like in Dead Space 3. Now frames stay mostly on 60 with adaptive vsync in nvidia, occasional dropping down to 40 on High settings. Tested with FRAPS.

I couldn't find Dead Space 2 I brought Fallout 3 and Bioshock for £17.98.

You guys and gals are going to laugh at me but hey who cares I have a bad heart. I play the following games : Sin City 3000 Unlimited, Sim City 4, Bejeweled Blitz, Bejeweled 3 (Lightning, Zen and Diamond Mine), Bejeweled Twist, Luxor HD,2,3,4,5 and Amun Rising HD, Luxor Evolved, X3, Quake. I am not really a gamer. I got Dirt 3 with my Giga Byte 6770 silent and had a go at it. Everyone overtook me and some driver asked me if I knew there was a race on. Reminds me of once in Sim City 3000 Unlimited the Sims were rioting, fighting, protesting and smashing things up on the streets. Turns out I had forgotten to hook up the water supply to their houses

I'm really enjoying the game so far

I got this game on a Steam sale last summer for $5. One of the best $5 I have ever spent so I went ahead and got Bioshock 2 ($5 also). I really have my eyes on Infinite coming out later this month but I might wait until it goes on sale.

Mainly DayZ (ArmA II mod) at the moment for me. Can't wait for the standalone version to come out.

Also a bit of CSS/CS:GO and some TDU2. Then Minecraft inbetween

I'm really enjoying the game so far

I'm looking at Bioshock 2, and I usually wait for games to reduce in price, before buying them. I don't want to pay £40 just for one game

Anyone else Pre-Order the new Tomb Raider?

I had problems with the latest Nvidia Drivers version 314.07 it would freeze then crash. I reverted to version 311.06 and it works a treat.

I was going to purchase it this morning still not sure because i been falling off the game playing with all these trips and stuff going on

Playing TR now. I never updated my drivers still using 310.90.

Ive been reading that tesselation causes occasional crashes with a 600 series card for whatever reason. That and the exclusive FS option.
Maybe its actually driver related or driver/600 series combination thats the issue and not so much the 600 series card itself?


I havent had any issues myself and the game is stable and smooth but .. I have a 500 series and have Tess disabled & All else on Ultra and using normal hair.

TressFX looks good, but seems theres a lot of clipping at times. I found it annoying personally.
Plus it really kills framerates at least on my 570.
With all on Ultra and Normal hair, Tess Disabled the benchmark showed 57 lowest FPS and MAX 60FPS. (using Vsync tripple buffer)

All setting the same with FX Hair, it dropped to something like 34MIN 49 MAX.

At any count, Im only a couple hours into the game but so far so good. Its truly is a beautiful game visually.

Downloading TombRaider now when i get back from buying toiletries and such i will see if it finished and start to play it till then that is the status report downloading and will probably be done in hour i have a good stream right now 2.5 MB wooo ha :sarc:

Couple screen shots game is pretty nice looking also different way or style i should add of playing not the ussual Laura Croft easier to control and comand

Yep. Its a very pretty game
I think they done a very good job on the PC version.

FWIW, I have version 314.07 installed and have not had any issues with TR.
