What games to get this year?

Battlefield 4
Bioshock Infinite
Metro: Last Light
Grand Theft Auto 5
Watch Dog
Or buy old games
Battlefield 3
Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Elder Scrolls: Skyrim

Now that the game is a lot older you can catch it for around five dollars on steam or origin at times. I personally really like the game, so just wanted to add my 2 cents

BioShock was decent and they did a good job on it, but it still wasn't as good as the first one. If you are into the series then it would be worth the buy. Honestly I am not to excited about Battlefield 4. You can check out the other thread here http://www.sevenforums.com/gaming/283960-battlefield-4-a-2.html and see my reasoning why. I feel the same about the Grand Theft Auto series. They may add a few things to the new one but honestly I feel like you play one you play them all. My favorite was Vice City, probably because that was the first over the shoulder one with motorcycles.

The one I am looking forward to is Metro: Last Light. I love the whole post apocalyptic feeling in games. The first one was different and beautiful and hopefully the second one can stand up to that. If you haven't played the first one then I would say it's a must buy.

All the older games you mentioned are great but the one I would recommend getting out of all the ones you listed is Skyrim. It is an amazing game and you can do so much with it. You can probably find it on sale these days and you won't be let down because you can sink hundreds of hours into that game and still have more to do. It is one game where you truly get your moneys worth.

I have only played battlefield 1942, battlefield 2, battlefield 2142, the bioshock demo, and gta 4. I was so pumped to get bf3, bioshock infinite, bf4, metro lastlight, and skyrim that I reliazed I had only $60 that I had saved from christmas. Now its even harder to choose, also since my computer is like from 2010 with like an $80cpu in it with my Asus GTX 650 ti videocard in it, I dont even think it could handle new games.

I would be very surprised if GTA5 is released on the PC this year, consoles yes but PC very doubtful, so you can scrub that off your list.

If I had to chose from your list it would be BF4, but personally I am looking forward to a racing game this year (Grid 2) as I have too many FPS already.

Five dollars is too much for it. I disliked it immensely. Any COD game was far better as was Battlefield 3. Battlefield 4 is supposed to be great but we all have our likes and dislikes so I will wait and see.

I don't know if it matters but I just beat BioShock: Infinite and my mind has been blown. Awesome single player game with an amazing story, and you don't need to play the first one to understand it but it's always recommended. So I think you should get it.
