Does anyone know, will MS make it possible to upgrade back to Vista or the new Windows 7 without losing any data/files? I'm using 7 now, but thinking about switching back to Vista. I would hate to have to format my HD just to upgrade.

The real question is why do you need to switch back to Vista? Win7 is superior in virtually every way. I tested the Vista Beta's and used Vista prior to build 7068 of Win7, and haven't really had any major issue with Vista itself. However Win7 definitely offers a performance advantage and has some neat new features.

Microsoft is not allowing beta upgrades to RC. I would rather revert back to vista now than later.
