What has everyone done about KB 2993651?

This is the update from last week that replaced the withdrawn KB 2982791, which Microsoft recommended should be uninstalled.

I uninstalled the original update when all the fat hit the fan the other week, although I had not had any problems with it. Microsoft advised that it could nonetheless pose future problems randomly and therefore said it should be uninstalled.

However, I haven't yet installed the replacement as people have been reporting issues since doing so, and Microsoft have themselves stated in their security notice that there are a couple of known issues, one of which they are working on.

What has everyone done with this update? Installed it with or without problems, ignored it for now, perhaps with a view to waiting till next "Patch Tuesday" for further developments, or given up on it and hidden it? I find it a really tricky decision to know what to do for the best.

I installed it, after first uninstalling the old one as recommended by MS. Didn't have any problems with the old update and not with this new one either

I had no problems with the original version - and saw no need to uninstall it before installing the new version (and didn't know about it at the time anyhow).
No problem so far.

I'm still waiting to see if the new update has any problems yet or not (yeah, I am a coward). everyone keeps saying it still has issues but no one has yet to report an actual problem yet (note that I said yet). I always wait until at least Saturday to install updates so M$ was able to pull the problem ones before I actually installed anything.

I think that are the two people are concerned about. If I'm wrong give me another KB#
and I will take a look see.

KB2993651 is the one I'm babysitting for now (poor baby).

I ended up with both and went back later to uninstall KB2982791, no problems before nor after.
2 Desktops and 1 Notebook done, 5 Notebooks yet to go when I get time.
