What have I done?

Windows 7 - On Friday (27th) I bought a program called Photo Effects Studio, I filled in all the details to buy this program and clicked download.
Somewhere along the download stage something went wrong and the view went back to photo effect studio main page.

I contacted support and they told me to go to Please press Start > Programs > Photo Effects Studio - The program is not listed there.

The next piece of advice was - Probably it hasn't be installed properly. Please install it again and check "Icon on Desktop" option. - there is no icon on my desktop

They then advised me to do an install - But I now find that the links for free installs do not work, I could go through the process of buying it again (this link is working) but I stopped short of filling in my card number. don't want to buy another copy.

Can anyone give me advice/suggestions etc. to get this program - I have been trying now since Friday and have got nowhere - many thanks in advance.

Get in contact with their support team and request a direct download link for the program ...

No luck from Photo Effects Studio today - I have received no reply from support, perhaps not manned on a Sunday?

Click on 'downloads' and see if it might be in there

edit .... try downloading the free trial http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Graphic/Graphic-Editors/Photo-Effects-Studio.shtml then use your purchased key to register it.

Try to confirm that the premium product key you purchased for registration is valid or not.. Otherwise i agree with JACEE's solution...

I have tried your link and added an attachment to show that I get stuck - the link just shows a blank page and at the top the address has a small blue spinning circle - but nothing else happens no matter how long I leave it on that page.

Just as a matter of interest,,, if you type in the name of the program. in the search Orb, does it bring anything up ?

Maybe the link won't work in the UK, but this one works for me:

I used IE9. It appears to be the same link that you posted. The download completed, and the 24MB Zip file is intact.

It's not clear from the company's web site where they are located. If it's in the US, you may have to wait until Tuesday (5/31) for a response: tomorrow is a US national holiday (Memorial Day), and most businesses will be closed.

Well at least it shows that the program wasn't hiding somewhere, so you definitely haven't downloaded it. If you don't want to fill out the credit card details again, I suppose you will have to wait until tuesday now, sorry about that.

Is it possible you did download it, and your AV snagged it and put it in quarantine before it made it to the HD?

Thanks to everyone who has tried to help me - I have just received a direct program link from Photo Effect Studio it does not work. Bobkin the link you sent will not work see attachment. All I get is a blank page with the blue circle at the top going round and round.
