What is "AMD Accelerated Video Transcoding device initialization"?

Hello.
I just reloaded my OS and am now seeing a System Config Startup item for the first time. Does anyone have any info about this item? Thank you.

it is the steady video feature for the web browser it is supposed to make video steady and visably clearer then before to me it seems the same but you might be able to tell

I would uncheck in msconfig any display device bloatware which was installed as it isn't needed unless you overclock.

Clean Up Factory Bloatware

I have that also.

Using 12.6 Catalyst.

I noticed that after plenty reboot i got this cmd.exe in start up.

I noticed that my browser game is bit lagging.

Is it safe to uncheck this AMD Accelerated Video Transcoding device initialization in msconfig?

Will i loose something?

You don't need any Display software starting with Win7 unless you overclock.

I would uninstall Catalyst and then install only the driver to be the cleanest about it.

But you can also uncheck everything except your AV to test it that way first.
