i already had everything sorted out in device manager
no exclamination marks or anything like that
also, where do i see in device manager if chipset is installed?

You won't need Intel Management Engine Interface.

To check if your drivers are installed , open your device manager.
Look into 'system devices' for all Intel related device (bridge , PCI, Controllers), 'IDE ATA ATAPI controllers' , right-click on each device to see its properties and verify provider, date & version in the driver's tab.

The core components may not display a yellow tag as they may be handled by minimal-compatibility mode drivers if they're matched by the OS.

thanks, but just to clarify, i know what the chipset drivers are, but asus has uploaded the intel management engine drivers and labelled them as chipset drivers, that's why i got confused
anyway, i just checked device manager and everything is installed and works.. so i guess the chipset drivers must be installed right?

sorry for the delay , it's a '$#1T-storm' right now in Europe. (And i got infected.)

For IME : It uses an embedded device within the cpu or chipset (I simplify) so a drivers is used to exploit it, but this device can be disabled.

As I said : check the version number & release date of the drivers used. I will not be able to confirm that for you
