what is Program Manager?

what is Program Manager, and why does it always keep me from restarting? shutdown works fine, but when i choose restart, i get a message saying Program Manager won't close.

this isn't Windows 3.1! what's going on?

That is curious AFAIK , it shouldn't be on 7000.

Have you tried running mbam to see if it comes up with anything?

well, the interesting thing is that it's not a running process. at least not one that i can identify. i also have not been able to reproduce the problem, but i have seen it come up several times over the last few days.

i'm running ESET so i'd be surprised if anything got through...
