What is Qtrax Player

What is "Qtrax Player" ? Is it a virus/malware? because I can't uninstall it.

It may be a legitimate program, but comes bundled with adware, it's an ad supported program.

Qtrax IS a music player, but it's certainly not legit in it's methods. You'll want to make sure your system is clean. After scanning with these programs, we'll have more suggestions. What antivirus are you currently using> Any other security programs as well. A Guy

Im using Avast and mbam. I scanned the pc and it found 20 malwares with mbam and found nothing with Avast (full scan with both). I too searched in Google about it and got confused because it is on Wikipedia but it is also related to virus. Im using an Acer laptop, maybe it's a preinstalled program ? This is not my laptop so I dont know the history of it and can't tell how it got here.

Anytime you find that many issues (perhaps even unrelated to Qtrax), it's best to scan with several programs, as some get what others miss. I'd follow through with the others I listed in my post above. Then when they all come back clean, I'd scan with tools that scan outside of windows (Avast can do a boot time scan), such as Windows Defender Offline, or a bootable AV disc.
