I hope that this is a quick question and someone has the answer.

I was doing some house keeping in Ccleaner and in the startup section I saw run_bobby_browser.

I have been trying to find out what the hell this is with no luck. Does anyone know what this is and if it is needed?

Thanks in advance!
Jim

You're welcome let us know if anything happens while running those programs. If they find a lot of malware, upload the log files here and I'll take a look.

Also, after finishing the steps in the removal link, download and install Autoruns
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

Extract Autoruns.exe to your Desktop, Right-click then select "Run As Administrator", After it finishes populating, delete all Yellow entries found and if you see anything left over from BoBrowser.
