sorry I went to school, in SA it is long hours. I meant a DVD/CD so I take it that the best way is to use alcohol. I got a tip from my friend ans he said I sould use toothpaste that has that little balls in, so its kind off a grinding paste. Thanks

Actually toothbrush and toothpaste is an acceptable solution.

I use first lukewarm water, plain palmolive liquid soap and my hands.
Rinse well with running lukewarm water.
If problem still persists, then I use a toothbrush and make a paste of Arm&Hammer soda and water and scrub with the paste and toothbrush.
Rinse well again using the toothbrush during the rinse to make sure to get any particles out.

Purist will make a final rinse with distilled water, especially if your tap water is high in minerals.

Yes...
The Palmolive liquid soap is the method I use. Even when I just buy a disc, I give it a light wash in warm water and give it a dry with a microfiber cloth. Then put a few drops of Rain-x solution on the disc like you would on your windshield. Some say it increases fidelity, but I just use it for a layer of protection on the disc.
