What is the consequence of uinstalling ALL updates?

I'm having the worst windows update problem ever, no matter how many fixes or sfc /scannow I run, no matter how many times I delete that weird folder while stopping the update service, the damn machine became resistant to updates.
So, I thought I'd try uninstalling every update listed under "installed updates" from the Windows Update window. Hoping that one of those is the culprit, if it's not then I'll just have to reinstall (seriously, there's no fix for what this machine have).
Is there any consequence for doing this? Would I need to uninstall them in any specific order, like time they got installed?

It would most likely be much faster to just reinstall than to uninstall all updates.

Well, the amount of time and energy is unlimited since I spent the past 48 hours digging through every "magic fix" there is, so I can take my time and uninstall, if it's safe that is. I'll try it anyway unless someone says I shouldn't, if something bad happens then I'll reinstall, but I want to try other things first.
I do love the magic of reinstalling, how it just fixes everything but sometimes it's neat to fix something without using the easy way

The folder "SoftwareDistribution", one of the magic fixes tell you to delete this folder (I suppose temporary updatefiles etc is kept here) after stopping the windows update service (putting the service back on should fix most problems apparently).
sfc /scannow reports that some files were dealt with but others wasn't.
The problems I have when installing updates is that I can't. I search for updates, it finds a few, impossible to install (failed to install updates, some random errorcode that doesn't mean anything). I usually can shut down the computer to "install" updates that got downloaded, NOTE that a reboot does nothing but reboot, I have to actually press the "shut down" for this to happen. Upon reentering Windows, if I check what updates was installed they all fail.

Another note, there's no fix, I just answered since I'm polite this information will lead you to various "fixes" that I have tried, all of them, and a few more. What I need to know is what happens if you blindly uninstall every already installed update. It's not a brand new system, I inherited it so it has quite a few updates installed. Latest was december '13.
