Without looking them up, the THX TruStudio is a software enhancement to the basic sound. Dell sells this as an upgrade option on some new models that have the Integrated (on the motherboard) sound systems.
Thus the Xfi Go! Pro USB Sound card with THX TruStudio should have better audio playback than the one without it.
