Hi there people, as the title says, I would like to know what is this generic credential I just found on credential managger in Windows 7... I really don't know what is it... and the information I find on the web does not satisfy me completely... some people say it's part of WLM 2011 and some other talk about a false windows update site and stuff like that being part of downloading update KB971033 (Update for WAT and helps validating W7 to get Windows Live Essentials ans such)...
I'm really confused, is this a threat or not? I'm asking here because is the only place I trust for this kind of information

It is a credential that is stored on your computer if you use any Windows Live applications such as Windows Live Messenger or Windows Live Mail among others.
If you delete the file it will be recreated as long as you are using Windows Live programs so I can assure you it is not a threat.
