What program do you use to burn the ISO file to DVD?

the main problem is the media, on which you are burning it too. if the media is of good quality, then burning at higher speeds is actually recommended. but some companies (e/g memorex) have importers shipping imitation media to retailers. you wouldnt know the difference unless you buy a pack, and check the serial #. I read a huge article on counterfeit media, and how it gets to stores. reportidly, there are types from different regions that are just chap-o knock offs of the name they carry. If i come across that article again, i'll have to post it. it's really a mind blowing read.

That seems to hold true in many ways! For a period of time I was buying a generic label media from a quarterly pc show of vendors seeing probably the most reliable results while having a generic brand name they sold bulk for less! Those worked well for about a year and then....

Right about when that suddenly ran into a batch of disks with data already written on the disks preventling any burns I picked a container of TDKs at a wholesale club sealed in the retail package there to see the exact same problem! Toss another 50ct container and proceed to a local Walmart for a pack of Sony blanks that worked!
