Hi,
I'm interested to do a clean installation of Windows 7 with SP1 integrated and I wanna do this as fast as I can with minimum possible effort especially when it comes to the configuration of office 2010 settings which 'll take a HUGE amount of effort if I have to do it again from scratch.
I just wonder what exactly are the programs which Windows Easy Transfer save their settings?
I'm asking because there may be some programs that I may not use again on my new installation of windows 7 so I'm not interested for WET to import junk files for programs settings that may not exist on my new installation anymore.

In other words, I wished if there's a possibility to know what EXACTLY are the programs that WET transfer settings for? Is it Microsoft products only? or I can have settings of other 3rd party software transferred like Adobe Photoshop CS5/Bridge?

IMHO Clean install usually means formatting the drive. Easy transfer means updating. We all know how much of a PTIA a clean install is but it is the only way to rid oneself of the junk from a previous Install.

As far as I know there isnt a way to "configure" WET to do selective imports.
