That is an on-demand test that to me is not indicative of prevention against 0-day malware or other malware. Look at the dynamic test.It performs very well in on-demand, proactive and dynamic tests. I have never seen anyone claim that it has low detection rates before.Kaspersky Internet Security is notorious for having an extremely low Virus detection rate, something Niemiro (Vista Guru over on VF) will pay testament to.

Niemiro's hours of complaints about how few viruses were detected when he switched from McAfee to Kaspersky last year.
This is completely unscientific but since he switched to Kaspersky I think he's had at least one possibly two major attacks, whereas when he had McAfee he had no major attacks.

Exactly. Who is to say that McAfee wouldn't have failed in place of Kaspersky?
