What will happen to my games?

hi there, i am switching to windows 7 soon and i play games, i was wondering if i could play games from the XP days like CS:S, TF2 or Garrys mod on my windows 7 PC, also would i be able to play games like bioshock or LFD2? because i'm worried, please help.

Depends. If you are upgrading to 32bit you porbably can run most of them if your harware is good enough. Have you run the upgrade advisor? it will tell you if any of your hardware cant cut it. Just google win 7 upgrade advisor.

Their are also some other options available like dual booting if your harddrive has the space for separate partion, or you could add a drive with win 7 on it. As I did. Then any games that wont run on seven you can still play on Xp. Check the tutorials on creating a dual boot with Xp. Fabe

yeah I did, it says i can run steam as for the bits i use a 64 :) thanks for the help man

Or use compatibility mode, right click on the .exe, select 'Properties', then the 'Compatibility' tab, check 'Run this program in compatibility mode', then choose the OS from the list.
