What wireless broadband to go with for my laptop?

So i was thinking of what ISP's there is for my laptop. I'm currently using verizon DSL at home, but this upcoming year i will be attending college so i think it's time to look into different proveiders and what size plan to go with....j i have no idea how uch usage i use on a daily basis. i'm located in southern california if that makes any differance. what are you guys using or what do youguys recommend. feedback would be great thanks! =)

Most colleges provide wireless access on campus. Will you be in a dorm?

I will not be staying in a dorm, i am aware that some colleges providee wireless internet, but i kinda thought that it'd be a good idea to have my own so if i'm on the go i'd be able to do my work n such.j thanks!

Contact the college Student Union or Student Advocate (or whatever it's called now days) and ask them what is available in the area. SoCal should have several choices.
