Maybe somebody can offer me an explanation -
I am puzzled !!!!. Look at the results of the benchmarks I got for my OCZ Vertex 2 SSD and my Samsung SSD. The ATTO Benchie clearly shows the OCZ as being much Faster (both read and write) but the CrystalDiskMark shows some different results (OCZ still faster but not by as much ???) - Why the differences ????:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Could just be as simple as quality of the manufacturing process and materials. If they were the same drives with differeces this could still apply.

The top two benchmarks were for the same drive (the OCZ) while the lower two were also for the same drive (the Samsung). The tests show significant differences which is puzzling - I emailed OCZ Tech support and they replied in an email

"Different benchmarking programs test the drive in different ways. The program we used for our advertised specifications is ATTO.

If you test your drive with a different program it will of course produce different results, which are not really compatible with the results ATTO gives because the program tests using another methodology"

So which test is correct ??????????????:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Is either one correct ?????
