Windows 7 updates constantly checking?
I'm currently trying to rebuild 2 completely different pc's at home with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Both build fine its only when getting to updates that things are becoming frustrating.
After checking for updates they are both prompted to install the initial 'Update Agent' and then updates closes and re-opens only to sit there forever checking for updates. I've since learnt that the update agent is version 7.6.7600.320 but have been unable to find a resolution to get any updates to show.
I've tried the fixit tool and reset of the windows update history etc etc but as I'm yet to actually download and install any updates I'm not quite sure what resetting the history will do.
Any help appreciated - as I've said its a completely new format and build with absolutely nothing installed yet
