With Microsoft now having released the RC Build 7100 of their latest OS Windows 7, the question now is....

Will they still work on other builds based on feedback they may get from the general public & IT professionals? Or will they go straight to RTM?

If so, will we be seeing these builds leaked & will you be downloading them?

I for 1 am happy with the RC but like a lot of people, the temptation of downloading a new build will more than likely take over :p

I asked this same question Shark. I did not get an answer. I would like to know as well.

I am planning to just wait until RTM no matter what happens. I will buy an OEM licence for at least 3 maybe 6 machines and install it on my 2 computers and maybe 4 machines for various friends and family. :)

As far as other builds go, we'll have to just wait and see.

Yea Shark, I don't remember where that thread is but I'm sure they are continuing to "fine tune" the OS but I have never followed the development of an OS this closely. I'm sure some of the more experienced guys on the forum know what will happen next.

I have had enough fun installing new versions for a while. I will stick with the RC unless a "major" development happens.

i hope to see some leaked RTM branch builds just for the fun and excitement that follows a leak, if nothing else.
i kind of miss it... :cry:
but the RC is a darn good OS right now.
looking forward the the final thing!
