what's the difference?

hi i want to buy the GeForce GTX 660 TI graphics card, does anyone know what the difference is between EVGA (which has 1 fan & and is longer), MSI, Gigabyte(which has 2fans), ZOTAC (2 fans), and Galaxy models ? thanks

just their way of making them their own after they have removed the reference parts fitted by nvidia.

some companies do overclocking so may need to improve cooling hence the dual fan options as well.

but check up, asus made a serious blunder with the 7950 they added a poor heatsink and the part that was suppose to be incontact with the gpu wasn't, they have since released a revision of it that doesn't have that fault but aftermarket gpu's ie all of them may or may not have issues so check reviews on anantech/tom's hardware that sort of thing.

Also check the warranties of different brands.

EVGA and MSI make a really good 660Ti.......probably two of the most popular in fact.
