This reminds me of that movie with Kiefer Sutherland,Julia Roberts and Kevin Bacon. If it wasn't for that unexpected power outage and Windows not being shut down properly. Which was clearly not Sevens fualt. Build 7100 runs flawlessly. By the way for you Vista haters my Vista reliability Monitor is comparable to Sevens. I have never had a problem with Vista. It is also an awesome operating system but I preferer Sevens UI

The Windows Backup shouldn't count because I canceled it while it was opening it. And the "Windows was not properly shut down" part happened when it randomly turned off my computer while playing Left 4 Dead. . . during a thunderstorm. . .but my home didn't lose electricity, just my computer. Coincidence?

A power surge/spike will shut down my computer, this may have happened to you.Just a light flicker does it.

My system is reliable 99.9% of the time, that is, until I plug in a USB flash (pen) drive -- the three red X's. :mad: I can't seem to get any USB flash drives to function properly in Win7 let alone Vista. However, I've had better luck with Vista though...

USB devices work just fine in Windows XP. Strange.
