After a Certain amount of time the HDD is Set to Idle this can be Changed in Power options

OK thanks - Iv'e been testing the sleep mode and everything seems to be off except the cpu fan.

That is normal - The CPU Fan needs to be on or your CPU will Burn up very Quickly
