Anyone know what time Friday Windows 7 beta will be released, and which sites it can be downloaded at ?

I don't think anyone knows what exact time and it will be at microsofts windows 7 page.

I'm guessing by afternoon, they mean Pacific time.

Ok, I'll bite...
3AM in FL is 12 PM (Midnight Th/Fr) PST...
Does this mean you have proof that the release is 12 Midnight not the widely accepted 12 Noon Friday (3PM for EST -Florida)

If so, then
That puts it at a handy 8AM for the UK

Well if its released at midnight PST as stated by M$ then it would be 3AM for me because I live in EST.

And there's the rub of it! I haven't seen concrete proof that it's either!

There's the "get it Friday" which would insinuate 12 midnight and likely be PST, which would put it at 3AM EST;
then there's the "come back Friday afternoon to DL your copy" which would instead infer 12 Noon (and again would more than likely be PST)
but, unless they've released a definite confirmed ETA in the last hour or two that I've missed (or you have some "source" wink, wink, nudge, nudge) it's all just speculation isn't it!
Any way -we'll know soon enough (not soon enough! )
