I've just started learning how to Create my own theme for windows 7 and i found out that some of the aero image's seem to be scaled down to like 1x3 pixels. I don't know what's the problem here. it could be my Windows style builder but in other themes it's just their original size... so i was wondering if anybody has the original windows aero theme for windows 7 because i wanna edit that slightly.

Thanks in advanced,

Robert

Your original Aero Theme is at C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Aero
I use Windows style builder & there are some images as small as 1x1 px in the original Aero Theme. Did you change the original Aero Theme & need a new copy? Here it is.

Thanks Bongo. I just thought there was something wrong with my aero theme since i saw alot of tiny 1x1 image's and stuff. Well i guess it's been made that way. I'll have to make the entire bar from scratch then and hope it still looks good  Thanks for the Help Bongo.

You can make the images bigger just not to big it will not work look at a custom theme in WSB & get an idea of some of the sizes

in a nutshell

The original Aero image files are at
c:\windows\web\wallpaper\<theme-specific subdirectory>

If you open any of the existing theme files in notepad and scroll down til you see lines ending in .jpg, you'll see exactly which files are referenced. I had to do a search for one of the files and then "open containing folder" to find exactly what aero thought "system root" was.
