Where does Windows7 Desktop Theme Wallpaper get stored?

Well, I appreciate that info but I was able to add more pictures to the theme I wanted to modify in that folder without a problem. I kept one pic and added twenty of my own in GIF and JPEG formats. They run perfectly. I'm on a Win 7 - 64 bit PC

I don't see a place to put wallpaper there?

Follow up

The link I posted assumes you have a theme folder added. You make the changes to the pictures by changing them in the "THEMES" folder under the downloaded theme folder you added. To get these, go to themes in your personalization tab and click on "GET THEMES ONLINE" and download one, then add your pictures to that folder using the link I put on here.

This link doesn't put in your case Jerry in the address. Copy and paste it exactly as shown here in search on your Windows Start Button search panel.

You are talking about .themepack then, not all user use them.

C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes


C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes


C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

C:\Users\Michaels\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\Ancient E\DesktopBackground This one gets me to the Ancient Egypt folder which I then dragged and dropped my pictures to. The link I posted earlier ( %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Themes ) goes to the same Themes location.
