Hi,
I'm sort of new to Windows 7 and I don't know the best way to find and install Windows software.

Normally I use Linux Ubuntu which has a software manager where I can find almost everything using a search function.

When using Windows the idea is to use Google to find the required bits I think.

Now I'm looking for the Media Center Connector because I want to stream music to my media server using UDnP etc.

There is a "play to" function in Windows Media Player but that only works with local content. It doesn't work with content on the network (using UNC of local path names).

As I understand from Google the media center connector should be part of PP2. Unfortunately Google was unable to explain where to find PP2 and how to install PP2.

Where can I find PP2?
Does it contain Media Center Connector?
When I install this Media Center Connector, will "play to" start working (with contect on the network).

Thanks in advance,
Onno

With Windows 7 (and since Vista) you hit the MS key if you have one or click on the Start orb, and as soon as you start typing you can find emails, programs, pictures, anything you want on your PC that is indexed...works wonderfully...OK...Windows class over :D:sarc:

Not true, you can playto network shares.
