HI, earlier this week I had lots of problems after a big windows update, fortunately all is working ok now but as part of the repair I did reload a system image and since then I get a message or a few seconds "You have to run system wizard before using full functionality of this application". It does not appear if I boot in safe mode. How can I find to which application it refers and how do I find the wizard. One possible clue that I can think of is that after the image reload I had message that said my copy of windows was not genuine, it is, and the message disappeared and the boot completed. Any help appreciated.

Hi burli,

Most of the times I have noticed this issue due to Acer fingerprint scan utility.
Look for the System Settings program under Acer in the Start Menu. If you
run the program to setup the Fingerprint reader this message will go away.

Start => All Programs => Acer => Acer Bio-protection fingerprint solution =>
System Settings
