Hi there, i'm planning on upgrading a few parts on my rig,

-one of these mobos
GA-990FXA-D3
GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM3+ - GA-990FXA-D3 (rev. 1.0)
GA-990FXA-UD5
GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM3+ - GA-990FXA-UD5 (rev. 1.0)

-gfx card
N560GTX Twin Frozr II/OC (already recieved one)
MSI Global – Graphics Card - N560GTX Twin Frozr II/OC
(would like to get a second one)

other parts:
AMD phenom IIx4 955BE
2x 2gig Corsiar 1333mhz ram

So my question is this, where will I get a bottleneck in performance, and with todays latest games will I see and major performance increases if i get another gtx560 and run them in sli?

Hope someone could help me with this, or should I spend the money of the second gfx card and upgrade something else.....I'm note looking for braging rights, just as best performance I can....

Tnx..

Im building a rig with almost the same board right now

If you could get ram at 1600mhz you will be real good

the cpu i heard that it would be better to use BE edition phenoms such as the 965 70 etc

other then that everything looks great if you like you can check out the post on my build these guys are great on instrutional help / they can guide you home

If you are buiding with the intentions to upgrade to Bulldozer, get 1866 ram. The Bulldozers are supposed to come with support of 1866, and i agree with Solarstarshines about the CPU. Then the only bottleneck would be the hard drive. An SSD will fix that, although I don't believe it will help much in gaming.

I'm the wrong person to ask about graphics setups. I know little about them, and less about SLI/Crossfire. All I know is that I have always been told, it is better to spend the money on a better card than to run Crossfire or SLI.

Essenbe is Correct i also considered a dual gpu set up but with todays technology a real good high end gpu is all your going to need

Plus less headaches with the set up of sli physX or even crossfire there is alot of problems with scaling and other issues games fps dropping the list goes on ....
